One of My Greatest Experiences with God:  Every time I deliver a message I ask God to speak and move me out of the way.  It is wonderful to experience Him doing exactly that.  God gives power and conviction to the words I say and orders my thoughts as I prepare and deliver my messages.  He moves people and challenges them in amazing ways that often surprise me.  I have a very real sense that I am doing exactly what God wants me doing when I teach His Word.  As Eric Liddell, the Olympic champion, said in Chariots of Fire, “I believe God made me for a purpose, but he also made me fast.  And when I run I feel His pleasure.”

Most People Don’t Know This About Me:  I went to a VERY small rural high school in Kansas.  There were 24 people in my graduating class. I finished second in my class and barely made the top 10%.
