Connect Groups
We believe that a very big part of making Jesus your life’s centerpoint happens in small groups. Worship services are important, but small groups are where people learn to trust and care for each other and where real life transformation happens. These groups are designed to provide connection, protection, and growth for each member. Centerpoint calls these groups “connect groups,” because they are where we really connect with other believers – people to help us grow in faith, pick us up when we fall, pray with us, care for us, and miss us when we’re not there.
Connect groups are also the best means to get actively involved in helping those in need. Connect groups take on service projects, develop partnerships with local organizations, and care for particular families or groups in need. Connect groups meet weekly in people’s homes or other community locations all over the River Region. These sermon-based groups meet for 14-week “semesters” in the spring and fall.
