A Connect Group for couples and singles in their mid-20s to mid-30s meets 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays in East Montgomery at the home of Ben and Susan Paramore. Ben and Susan lead the group which currently consists of about 20 members. Meeting time is typically spent in fellowship, prayer, and open-group discussion about the sermon from the previous Sunday.

As Centerpoint encourages members of Connect Groups to pray for each other throughout the week, we have organized a private Facebook© Group to help us keep up with each other amidst busy schedules. Members use the Facebook Group to post prayer requests, praises, and other news or needs.

Amanda Hammett appreciates the level of trust, friendship, and accountability that comes with being in this group of Believers. She states, “It is important for every Believer to have at least one other person in whom to confide, pray with, listen to, and encourage.”

Our Connect Group gives back to the community by participating in a service project at least once each quarter. This past Christmas, we sponsored a young woman at Brantwood Children’s Home. We bought her clothes, household items, and other necessities, and several of our members were blessed to attend Brantwood’s Annual Christmas Party, to meet the woman and personally present these gifts.
